Incoherent Trust
Surrounding streets are too large to blemish,
Peers shriek coherent judgment past brick walls,
This hope shines through the windows we cherish
Manifesting within red text, I fall,
Tear out those pages that glisten at me,
Rogue, it perseveres itself inside,
My blistering demons are soon set free,
An adverse story of Jekyll and Hyde,
Pupils dilate from scarlet street lights,
Searching past the lonely eye’s perception,
But to stop could begin the break of night,
Elongating pavement brings deception,
Imagery melts into a burnt skyline,
This false exterior seems so benign.
