Summer Vacation

Summer vacation has finally come,
I can do whatever I please.
This is my time to be dumb,
but I do consider the bees!

I'll visit beaches,
where I'll get new scabs.
I'll watch out for leaches,
and also those crabs!

Though I'd much prefer a swimming pool,
even though I can't tan;
don't expect me to just sit on a stool,
I'll come up with a plan!

I didn't get to the ice-cream,
why'd it have to be a dream?!
