Today I Will
A long awaited wind has blown through here
I have felt it and wondered aloud
What do I have left in this town to fear?
I need to emerge from this town’s large crowd
Today I will leave this town forever
No longer do I need to stay in here
A bond with this town that I must sever
My future in this life is very clear
Don’t remind me of the past as I go
I do not plan on coming back at all
I can’t be helped by seeds I used to sow
I must get out before the fall
I never will come back, this town is ill
I was going to leave, today I will.
