Beauty Is A State Of Mind
That good feeling I get,
When I look in the mirror,
Won't last I bet,
Because before I know it,
I come around,
I take my confidence,
And smash it to the ground,
Leaving me lost,
Wishing there was a way out,
No one hears my cries,
So I begin to shout,
I'm tired of not being enough,
I'm sick of not being at peace,
This body can't be mine,
Surely it's a lease,
Then I wake up and realize,
This is really me,
There's beauty here,
If I look I can see,
There's more to find,
As long as I keep my head high,
I'm tired of telling myself,
I'm ugly because it's a lie,
When will we all come to find,
Beauty isn't physical,
Beauty is a state of mind.
