A Mind of Darkest Light
Your bright eyes shine in darkest light.
When I think you're there you disappear.
Your pale skin is a chalkish white.
Struck by beauty when you appear.
Suave in motion, ever flowing,
like a river you crush my soul.
You're in my mind now, ever knowing,
these thoughtless schemes, and selfish goal.
You cannot go away from me.
You wrap me in confusion clouds,
Dancing about until I cannot see,
Veiling me with blood red shrouds.
You are here, stuck in my head,
Guns and power, love is dread.
