Heroin
You made me believe it was the best thing,
You said it only took your pain away.
It made you so high you felt like a king
Are you now realizing you have to pay?
You run and hide to make me satisfied
But what about the hurt I felt inside?
Did you ever think that you could have died?
You shut me out and left me outside.
You have had no control of your own mind;
You did things you swore you would never do.
Lying and stealing every single dime
from people who mean everything to you.
Please let me help you take the pain away
I want to be with you, not run away.

Now that I am seventeen I have a boyfriend that is a heroin addict that I had no idea about. He hides it from me and will do anything he can to do it. I really love him and want to be with him, but I just recently broke up with him because if the problem. I want to fix things, so I wrote this hoping he would understand where I am coming from and hopefully it will help him.
