An Imperfect Utopia
Living in this country is marvelous
With supplies available anywhere,
A diverse population here and there,
And safety from anything perilous.
Living in the suburbs is fabulous
With blue skies visible everywhere,
A bucolic scene and sometimes a mare,
And very few who are unscrupulous.
However, where’s the happiness and peace?
Crime is rampant and accidents occur,
War continues and bickering widespread.
Racial inequality does not cease,
Diseases and predicaments recur.
No success, economic slump instead.
