Untitled
Fire danced at my sand coated feet
Below the darkening summer sky
Darkness is not something you can cheat
No matter how hard you hope or try
There are black darkened coals
And within their summery hearts
There are hundreds of little punctured holes
Time and time again, winter starts
Like the stars, their summery hearts shone
No sun is as bright as they smiled
Before summer disappeared into the unknown
In darkness, they are as helpless as a child
When it was all over, they each fell apart
Another little hole inside a punctured little heart
