My Light
The bright light into my world of darkness
Helping me see what I couldn’t before
Leaving me content, maybe more, no less
Defending me with your loud, mighty roar
Oh marvelous, bright light which leads the way
The things you give me are one-of-a-kind
Make yourself known in my life today
And shade me from the rest, shut the blinds
Kind light who cares for others, not himself
You need no intro, you need no applause
Looking out for big and small, need no wealth
Never stops sharing, not even a pause
Oh, great, marvelous, trustworthy, bright light
You’re pure, and you’re and clean, and everything right
