Lonesome Nights
Crouching to the forest floor
With fur as silver as snow
Head and nose bent low
With strong legs of four
Eyes as blue as native lore
He lives free, without chains
Leaving his enemies slain
Strolling through the forests more
High, in the air a moon shines
And the beast offers his praise
Her light spreads across his rugged lines
Every night on the cliff he lays
Basking in her glow, so fine
Every night is where they stay
