Let Us Go
Let us go together to the seaside
We’ll wave blankets and throw bread to the birds
And when it is over, there we will bide
Whispering and weaving each other’s words
Let us go together to the wheat field
We’ll hold young hands and learn about old souls
And when it is over, we’ll stay concealed
Losing and laughing about self-control
But now let us go our separate ways
And not find it too hard to half this heart
And now that it’s over, we’ll spend our days
Hating the distance that keeps us apart
Let us go together to our great past
Bet we must make this Together our last
