In nights in days when winter’s light shines bright
We sleep and dream but night’s shade leaves us dark
The storm tides high forced from the sky an ark
The ground a float now on the boat and kite
We all prepare for the future ahead
The books of time are now laid down to bed
Look up to stars that shine with truth and rights
Don’t lay thy hands on those who give with glee
You maim our lives with rage and hate you see?
Laughter and joy makes us glad there are leases
Ya might be buff but you’re not top dog now
