The leaves change,
How very strange
The bears are hibernating
It’s almost time for Thanksgiving,
It’s time for a celebration
One that will surely cause celebration across the nation.
Thanksgiving is a time to come together
A time for families to gather
They sit at a great big table
Where they will talk of a story that seems more like a fable
A story that took place hundreds of years ago
A time when hunters hunted with a bow
It speaks of unity and trust
But that unity and trust faded into dust.
