The Curse of a Broken Heart
Her smile glows, so incredibly wide
Easily lighting up every room
No one knows how dark it is inside
Her heart is encased in a rotting tomb
Dead is the symbol of passion, a dove
The charming words he once used are now tangled
She does not believe him, it was not love
He leaves unharmed, her emotions mangled
Her life is gone, she is now just a shell
Each memory, good and bad, fills her head
Does he know what he did? She went through hell
More and more, yes, she wishes she were dead
Now her spite lies in wait, day after day
For someone else to make her feel that way
