Lost Sight
What is this darkness that clouds my own sight?
It sings me a sweet siren's song that hides
It gives me slight reprieve from my harsh plight
My pains disappear when my love misguides
This honeyed sound traps me in it's sweet net
Pulling me towards jagged edges unknown
Where I succumbed to my deceptive debt
And gave death to life from love not shown
I stumble now in my own blinding fog
My sweet siren's song has forever past
It's replay weighs on my mind like a bog
Suffocating me and making pain last
Although my love was sweet when it had been
When it had left, my sight was lost within
