I run through the forest,
Feeling free and moving fast.
Certain nights, I get my full rest,
But not when the full moon hasn't past.

When the moon is full,
I'm in a lot of pain.
Chained up in a cellar feeling cruel,
I hold back my screams and listen to the rain.

My eyes turn gold,
My teeth get sharper.
I stand on four legs, bold,
My growl gets louder and my bite gets harder.

Through that night,
I run and hunt.
I find my snack and bite,
I feel horrible for doing what I've done.

Only when the moon is full,
Will I be such a beast.
A secret hidden in my soul,
And only then shall I feast.

No one feels this pain,
Unless the have this curse.
As human, I can hide this through the day,
But at night, my tears, the burst.
