Nothing Could Replace You
She tried to fill her emptiness with the thought of you.
See, without you in her life, all she felt was blue.
She just couldn't accept the fact that you weren't here anymore,
So she spent her days with friends and shopping galore,
Trying everything she could to push through
Because she forgot to properly thank you.
Day and night she hoped you'd walk back through that door,
So she could say the words she didn't say, which she was sorry for.
You were her role model, the person she looked up to.
Before she knew it, it was already time to say adieu.
There was something still missing deep down in her core, Something she never felt before.
She tried to think of a paradise that she could put her mind into,
But there's absolutely nothing that could replace you.
