A Life to Live
I was never good at much
Not a single talent rest in me
They escape my desperate clutch
Though truthful this may be,
I will not lie in a pathetic heap,
And watch the days pass by
To close my eyes for an endless sleep
I will look up to the vast, blue sky
And praise God for each day
For it all was given to me
To live in without dismay
Without fail you will see,
My life is mine to live
So I will give all I can give
