Thoughts
Here I lie thinking alone in the grass
I stare at my hands while my mind goes nuts
It's getting dark, but I can't feel time pass
Questioning myself with why, who, and what's
I begin to question my purpose here
Like those bad thoughts you get when you can't sleep
It's like they are bugs that crawl in your ear
I wish I could stop them, for my mind weeps
Wouldn't it be nice, to just turn thoughts off
Thus, nevermore would you feel oh so low
When someone speaks to you and you sense scoff
Always remember that you can say no
For you control your brain and what goes on
Just close your eyes and breathe, and they are gone.
