We are not as close together
As we used to be
Our indifferences are more apparent than our non-existent love
We pass each other - still you do not see.
You and I are one in the same
Creating the world that I have come to flee.
With trouble and error in the midst of our lives,
Both fulfilling and emptying
Tears of both my aggression and lies,
Are the epitomes of your joyous pride?
If you were willing to hold on more desperately
I wouldn’t feel like I was losing my grip,
My hold on you is simple
Clutch, tug, slip
