Ticking Clock
The clocks ticks faster, oh how the clock ticks fast
My heart races until I hear that sound
I walk alone and somewhere out there in the vast
I do not stop like a child scared of the dark until I
hear that pound.
I turn around and cannot see a single soul.
I leave and don’t look back
And will soon achieve my week’s goal.
To find out who was in here in black.
For I do not achieve that and move on
I came close to that one night
But I must see ahead and be gone
And maybe try to get some sleep tonight.
While I lay I thought of life.
And then went to the kitchen to get a knife.
