When they proposed I write about love
I immediately thought about you
with your splendid smile that shines above
all others, with your obsessions that define you
I love you with your virtues and your flaws
I love the way you always make me smile
I love your crazy, exuberant side because
even though I haven’t seen you in a while
it reminds me of the perfect match
that we are, and how it’s horrible to be
apart, because baby I know you’re the best catch
that I’ll ever get, and I’ll always treat you
right, you are my best friend and I love you,
without you who am I? Just tell me who?

I had to write a Sonnet for a school assignement and decided to choose love as my topic. Being just a teenager I don't know a hole lot about love. So I decided to write about my bestfried that I had to leave behind when I moved across the world.
