Our Conversations
My head lay on her thighs as we talked about paradise.
Her words parted seas
and her hands glided with ease,
tracing waves across my face with her eyes.
We shared unquiet thoughts between glances
and she sung a linnet’s silence until it became truth.
She wanted an island since her youth,
but only ever avoided the sea of romances.
We talked until the city was glowing blue.
Parting from her touch became my greatest task
and I wasn’t sure if it was rude of me to ask,
but when did Poseidon leave you?
