Broken days
Is love a broken sunset, and sunrise?
Memories are imprinting into tears,
Emotions that cannot be vocalized
Only my heart can ever truly hear,
Syllables turn into unstable throbs
Distractions can somewhat heal the distress,
Because my heart, mind, and spirit is robbed
Luggage beneath my eyes cannot confess,
Love is a vulnerable broken clock
Truth is what I truly wish to answer!
Instead I spoke with confused Paradox
As you are my departed calendar,
My heart will continue to still echo
Because my heart still sees you tomorrow.
