Rainy day
The raindrops make patterns on the sky light
She can sit and listen for hours on end
The thunder can shake the earth with its might
The grays among the sky will start to blend
She writes the words to their euphonic tune
Outside the melancholy rhythm plays
hours turn to days and morning to noon
With the sounds and the beat is where she stays
The clouds burst at their ethereal silk seams
The night threatens nightmares and unholy reveries
Soon after we will be graced with sun beams
Aurora approaching through the oak trees
So let the downpour wash over the eventide
unable to touch her Here among her downy covers she can hide
