The Move
In the November 2013 issue of Teen Ink, Marketta Kachemov didn’t really surprise me with her reaction in her article “The Move.” She was surprised with what college is like. She expected too much from college just like many other freshman college students do. Everyone puts going to college up for more then what it really is. Yeah college can be fun because you make new friends and have more freedom, but you also have more responsibilities and a ton of homework. College is just like high school in many ways and I think that’s what surprises students the most. This is why students are upset with what college is like because they set their standards too high. Once they lower their standards to reality they will have much more fun and enjoy college more.
