The Death Penalty Response
In his article "The Death Penalty", Michael Wolf makes some very good points about how the death penalty should be illegal. The different points he makes are very well thought out.
I agree with the author that the death penalty should not be used in the United States. He says that the government is being hypocritical when they kill someone for killing another person. They say that the eye for an eye system doesn't work. The government should not be able to legally take another persons life. The author states that the government shouldn't risk killing an innocent just to permanently rid the United States of a killer. I do not think that the government has the right to kill someone, even if it is to try to deter others from killing.
