The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
Imagine your standing in front of ten foot tall beings holding one of their most powerful weapons after you have been accused of stealing it. Both of these and many more adventures have happened to Percy Jackson in the first of the Olympians series. Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief will keep you guessing with a shocking twist ending that you will never see coming. With characters, creatures, and familiar faces from Greek mythology this book never fails to disappoint me.
Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan is one of the one of the best adventure/fantasy books that I have ever read next to the other books in this series and The Thief Lord. With key parts that take place in the Underworld, Olympus, Half-Blood Hill, and a Hotel that makes time almost stop to them will they be able to recapture the stolen item that ‘s getting everyone so stirred up. With action, suspense, adventure and even slight bits of humor, I don’t know why or how someone could say no to this amazing book. The plot is someone has stolen Zeus’s master lightning bolt. Percy is accused of this crime. Why? Percy is the son of Poseidon, Zeus’s brother and they have always been feuding. Percy must clear his name on Mount Olympus before war breaks out between the gods.
