Iqbal by Francesco D’ Adamo,
Do you like books about slavery and freedom? Then Iqbal by Francesco D ‘ Adamo translated by Ann Leonori is a great book to read.
Iqbal is about a boy named Iqbal. Iqbal has to be enslaved just to pay off his family's debt. Iqbal is sent to a carpet factory where he meets a girl named Fatima and she becomes one of Iqbals best friends. They got so close that they considered each other as brothers and sisters. One day Iqbal escaped from his master's control and helped Fatima and the other children escape to freedom too. Iqbal will teach you that children should not be enslaved to pay off their family's debt. If you want to know how the book ends you will have to read it. In my opinion I think that the book is a really good. I would rate this book a 7 out of 10 because it is really good.
This book will make you want to help all of the children that are enslaved in other countries. It will also make you want to learn more about Iqbal Masih's life. If you like reading books about slavery and freedom I would red this book.
