Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe
This book had me thinking about whether our parents decisions would reflect on our lives. I really loved this book, because as we were getting deeper and deeper into the story the more the main character was ruining his life. This book was an easy read, because it was very interesting and it was almost like a guide on what not to do when you gain power. that is only if you were in the main characters situation. I'am still trying to answer that question, because every child wants to better than their parents and in this story it didn't work so well. The main character was better than his father he also was more strict and with him not listening to anyone it led to his death. He let his power get the best of him and when things stopped going his way he eventually killed himself. Everyone should really read this book, because it is life changing and you might change the way you've planned your life in the future.
