HawkSong by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
The beloved princess of the avians is taking throne soon and she will do anything to stop the war in-between the avians and the serpentine. The serpentine is a race of vicious snakes and the avians are a variety of different birds and hawks. Zane Cobra, the heir to the serpentine is also about to take the throne and he is equally wanting to end the wretched war. It all turns into a romantic adventure of finding a way to end the war and Zane and Danica falling in love. I personally could not put the book down; it kept you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next move, with a well due unexpected ending. Overall I give the book a 4/5.
