City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Clary had never thought there was anything much different about her from anyone else, that is until she started seeing people and things others couldn't. After she met Jace she started learning a lot about herself that her mother had hid from her, like the fact her mother was a demon hunter. After a demon attack her mother was kidnapped by Valentine. Jace was all she had after her mother was gone, besides her best friend Simon. Its not long before Clary begins to fall for Jace ( hehe who wouldn't!)there romance is blooming quickly till it is suddenly shattered when Jace finds who Clary really is. How will they deal with this heart break? Will it change how they feel?
