John Wick is an epic movie depicting the adventures of the legendary John Wick. John Wick was an assassin, but he is now retired, doing his best to live a normal life by marrying the love of his life, which is what ended up convincing him to abandon the violent way of life he used to live. However, her unexpected death leaves him feeling abandoned and unsure about what to do with the rest of his life. As he begins experiencing a deep depression, John soon discovers a little puppy that was the last gift from his wife. Albeit, this brief moment of happiness is turned around when a mobster and his thugs steal Wick's favorite car and kill his puppy in the process, after John's refusal to give them the car. After this heart-wrenching moment, John decides to unleash the monster within and tear apart the mobster's life in a brutal fashion, eager for vengeance and revenge against the man that took everything from him. Meanwhile, the father of the mobster decides to put a huge reward bounty for whoever takes down Wick, fully knowing what John Wick was and is capable of accomplishing. As the mobster tries his best to save his foolish son's life from the unstoppable force of John Wick, he unleashes his entire mob against him, putting Wick to the ultimate test. As John Wick essentially battles with an entire army singlehandedly, he discovers that as much as he wanted to believe that he could escape from his old life, he can never truly break free from his past.
John Wick is an adrenaline-pumping thriller that combines action-packed drama with a brilliant plot to create a tale that needs to be seen. With jaw-dropping action scenes and amazing battles that involve complicated fighting and advanced techniques, this movie feels like a work of art more often that not, which is something that the average person probably wouldn't expect from this movie that seems just like an ordinary fighting flick. Despite how the beginning of the movie is depressing and certainly heartfelt, the movie quickly transforms this sadness into crude awesomeness as the shear power of John Wick is displayed on full frontal. Even though the middle portion of a movie tends to be one of the least exciting parts, this isn't the case for this suspenseful mystery. For this movie, the middle of the movie includes some of the most complex battles of the entire movie and show John Wick at the peak of his powers, which aids the moive in capturing audiences' attentions and dragging them to the very edges of their seats. The enticing ending of the movie proves to be an exhilarating conclusion that wraps up the entire story together, as well as cohesively combine all of the plot points together to both shock audiences with its little moments of greatness that hint at what previously occurred in the start of the movie and demonstrate an entirely new, emotional side of the fierce John Wick.

John Wick is a fresh adventure that includes some truly mesmerizing scenes that need to be soaked in. From John Wick taking down bad guys to surviving being run over by a car, watching John Wick is viewing an entirely new perspective on what it means to be a crime-fighting good guy. Unlike other characters, Wick is far from being a solely good person and is an assassin at heart. For such, it shouldn't be that big of a surprise that he isn't afraid of doing what ever it takes to survive, including ruthlessly taking out anyone and everyone in his way. Although this is far from morally respectable, this manages to be excellent entertainment that should certainly please its watchers. Furthermore, this adventure proves to be quite complicated in nature, and even though most would assume that this film is just an excuse to have some cool fights, the movie is actually about a man regaining his inner-masculinity and strength by overcoming all of the obstacles in his path, including getting over the loss of the love of his life.

John Wick has some dazzling fight scenes, so it shouldn't be that large of a surprise that the movie heavily relies on superb special effects that do not disappoint. The amazingly vivid visual effects of the movie capture John Wick's incredibleness in its entirety. The battles are outrageously artful and are able to quickly transform this movie into a relentlessly triumphant hit. Without the spectacular visuals aiding the movie, it is fair to wonder if the movie would be able to succeed in the slightest, but luckily for the movie, this doesn't have to be a worry, because the visuals definitely capture everything and then some that the creators could have possibly wanted to include.

John Wick takes a common concept and spins it into something that feels like it has never been done before. There's violence, action, and a layered dialogue that assist the movie in never becoming one-dimensional to the point that the movie also additionally conjures an entire spectrum of emotions. Epic in its entirety, there's no stopping John Wick, and for such, there should be no stopping people from watching this absolute must-see.
