After winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Katniss and Peeta return home and shortly after have to go on a victory tour. While on the tour, people from the districts start to rebel more because they see Katniss as the Mockingjay (a defiance against the capital). President Snow feels powerless while this is happening so he decides to change this year's hunger games. Instead of having new tributes, the victors from years past will be reaped again.

Katniss Everdeen is the main protagonist, she is a sixteen year old girl who takes care of her mother and sister since her father died which makes her more mature for her age. She is known for being independent and very skilled with a bow and arrow. During her first game, to stay alive, she uses the other tribute, Peeta Mellark as a love interest to get them both out safely. Peeta Mellark is one of the other protagonists, who is also sixteen years old who lived with his abusive family. One of Katniss and Peetas allies is Finnick Odair, he is known as the capital sweetheart for winning his first games at only fourteen years old. Another ally is Johanna Mason, she is a direct aggressive girl who won her hunger games by killing everyone with an ax.
District 7's Johanna Mason was triumphant in the 71st Hunger Games. After four years, she participated in the Third Quarter Quell as a tribute and was taken prisoner during the Second Rebellion. A cunning young winner of the Hunger Games who is back to take on Katniss. Since Johanna is fearless and assertive, Katniss doesn't like her right away.
The film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is remarkable, with outstanding performances, sets, and visual effects. Despite being a long movie, the film doesn't feel dragged on

because there is enough action and plot to keep you interested. It demonstrates the horrifying violence that results from dehumanizing others. The movie also shows how stuff could take a horrible turn if you let just one person, who abuses power, have control over many different people. The film also encourages bravery, fidelity, selflessness, and friendship.
