The Adam Project is a sci-fi Netflix film about 12 year old Adam Reed in 2022 who gets visited by his adult self to save the world from time travel. In this incredible movie, there are explosions, humor, and emotional scenes that will make people from home wipe away tears.

One of the best parts of this film is the cast. This movie includes actors such as Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, and the young Walker Scobell. This was Walker’s first film and his claim to fame, starting to get bigger roles with Disney after this movies release. Not to mention, this film was directed by the famous Shawn Levy. He has also directed movies such as Deadpool and Free Guy, which told everyone how good this film was going to be.

This film was hilarious and had my entire family laughing the entire time. I have seen this movie a million times, but the jokes will never get old. Some of them are a little older, but it makes sense for a PG-13 film starring Ryan Reynolds. The action scenes are also incredible. The CGI in this movie is much better than other movies I have seen, which is another reason why The Adam Project is a must watch.

While this movie has action and humor, it is not your typical Ryan Reynolds film. There was a scene that made me cry because of how good the acting was. It was about how young Adam telling old Adam not be mad at their late father. He knew that it wasn’t fair that he passed, but it didn’t give them a reason to be angry. I had no idea that either Scobell or Reynolds had the ability to make me cry like that, but I was pleasantly surprised with their acting skills.

So, if you’re planning a movie night with your friends or family, “The Adam Project” needs to be on your watch list.
