The Great Gatsby
The Great Gatsby
The great Gatsby is a great representation of how Scotts Fitzgerald made the book. The movie had a lot of the same things but what really interesting to me was that they made the music more towards the generation of now instead of playing jazz. I also liked how well Leonardo DiCaprio did as playing Gatsby, he did very well at playing the part. It also interested me at how in the last chapter of the book they made it where gatsby's dad comes to the funeral but in the movie they don’t show him at all. Ive also discovered that by the end of the movie I was hating daisy as much as I was hating tom, the director had made it to where in the beginning everyone was loving daisy but by the end we just wanted her to be gone and be the one shot. One more thing was that didn't’t like was how they made Wilson look big and tough when I had the feeling that he was more of a wimp not a guy bigger then tom.
