“Despicable Me” is a family friendly movie good for everyone in the family! It will make you laugh a lot with the cute minions and their language and the three little girls that Gru adopted to help him out on his missions. It is a cartoon that was directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud and released July 9, 2010. There is Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2 and Minions for the movies.

The movie is about Gru trying to take the moon but he needs to shrink the moon so he can take it. Gru then decides to try to take the shrink ray from Vector (another villain) but Vectors defense is to good for Gru so he hides behind a plant and sees  3 little girls walk up to see if Vector wants to order some cookies and he does. That's when Gru comes up with a plan, a smart plan, to get the shrink ray.

The minions are the best part of the movie and without them it wouldn't be a good movie. They are what makes the movie so funny. The main minions are Kevin, Bob, and Stuart, they are the ones who help the little girls out and watch them while Gru is doing stuff.

I rate Despicable Me 8/10. I think it is a good family movie if the family wants a good laugh.
