My World, pop star Justin Bieber’s first album was the amazing start of something new. It demonstrates a cool pop mix and all the songs show many different meanings. The listener is sure to love the fun vibe that comes along with this album.

This album was made to set as a foundation for the beginning of Bieber’s music career. He made two albums, My World and My World 2.0, around the same time frame to get the listeners excited and wanting more. They both set a great example for upcoming stars that want publicity.

One track from the album, “Down to Earth” demonstrates Bieber’s background and the struggles that he went through as a kid. He started in a small town, born from two teen parents, with barely enough to stay alive. He posted some videos on Youtube of him singing and his current manager, Scooter Braun, made an instant move to find him. It shows that Justin is really a down to earth kind of guy.

Many hits like “One Time, “One Less Lonely Girl” and “Favorite Girl” offer a great vibe that send the message of a teenage boy trying to win over a girl’s heart. The album is very different from Bieber’s current work, as his voice has deepened over the past couple years and his music has also matured.’

The song “Love Me”, based of the track by The Hooligans, is one of my favorites. The lyrics “Love me, love me, say that you love me”, are repeated throughout the chorus and are very catchy. I find the lyrics of these songs very fun to listen to and full of great meaning.



On a belieber scale I would rate this album, from “One Time” (his first single) to “As Long As You Love Me” (a single from a major album, Believe), at a “Nothing Like Us” (A song from the most recent album released) ranking but in regular terms that would mean a 12/10. This album is one that I can listen to over and over again and still not get tired. It is very catchy and the lyrics are very fun to song along with. Overall My World is spontaneous!
