True love was made, strongest friendships were formed, nine seasons of pure comedy all in a boring old paper company in a small town in Pennsylvania. The boss Michael Scott (Steve Carell) is an awkward man who makes jokes out of everything, and lives by the philosophy, “Friend first, Boss second.” Dwight Scrute (Rainn Wilson) is the top salesman who owns a beet farm and loves his job more than anything. Another salesman, Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) is a young prankster who cures his boredom throughout the day by annoying and pranking Dwight. He also spends his time flirting with the receptionist, Pam Beasley (Jenna Fischer). Pam is the office crush who dreams of quitting her job and pursuing her passion in art, but for now sticks to flirting with Jim.

Michael provides most of the humor with his dirty “That's what she said” jokes, or just thinking he's the funniest in the room when really he isn’t. My personal favorite Kevin Malone (Brian Bumgardner) is an accountant who appears to be not very smart, but throughout the show we see flashes of brilliance as he wins the office world record for most M&M’s shoved in his mouth, or winning money gambling. He loves Michaels dirty jokes and completely makes the show worth watching. This show can be found on netflix, and it is mostly appealing to teenagers like me, but my parents watch it with me and they laugh their heads off, so I’d say any age thirteen and older would like it.

This show proves that even in the most boring places, like small paper companies, friends can be made, families can be brought together, and a lot of laughs can be made.
