Every Monday night I tune in to watch The Fosters on ABCFamily. The Fosters is a family drama about a lesbian couple that raise children together. One of the women has a son from a previous marriage named Brandon. Then there’s Mariana and Jesus, twins that were adopted by Steph and Lena. Everything changes for this family when a juvenile delinquent comes to live with them, Callie. Accompanied with Callie is her little brother Jude. While Steph and Lena believe Callie will be a handful, little do they know about their own children.

Jesus has ADHD and has to take medication for it. Mariana steals many of Jesus’ pills to sell and gives the money to her drug addict birth mother. Brandon falls in love with Callie and cannot get over her. This results in many problems because Callie and Jude want to be adopted by Steph and Lena. Brandon gets sent to live with his father to get his mind off of Callie and focus on his true talent, playing the piano. Unfortunately for Brandon, his father is an alcoholic. In the second season finale, Brandon goes to live back with the Fosters and Jude and Callie go in to make their adoption official. Unfortunately for Callie, something on her birth certificate isn’t right and her adoption cannot proceed.
