Have you ever thought about being in an underwater city? Well you are in luck. In this review I will be talking about the game Bioshock. Bioshock takes place in 1960, after you (Jack) survive a plane crash and discover the underwater city of Rapture. The city is torn apart by war and anarchy. Atlas (the man who helps you out in the beginning of the game) To help with all the madness they give you a superpower (The power of electricity) to help kick butt in the city of Rapture.

               This video game was made in 2007 and has won some awards. They have won, VGX Award for Game of The Year, BAFTA Games Award for Best Game of 2007,VGX Award for Best Xbox 360 game 2007, and VGX Award for Best Original Score.

               This is the comparison Bioshock and it's sequel Bioshock 2. They are connected and both filled with action and mystery but in Bioshock 2 fell short with when it came to filling in the shoes of the main characters. According to Nerd Burglars in Bioshock 2 the locations seem out of place and it is compared to Gotham city because it is dark and gloomy. This kind of made you forget you were in an underwater city compared to the original Bioshock.

              The game Bioshock has background success such as, it sold 5 million plus copies and was a mainstream commercial success turning Kevin Levine (The games creative director) as well as the president and co founder of Irrational games into a video game celebrity. From lootin and shootin to magic and mayhem this video game gets a 5 out of 5 stars. This thrilling game was a masterpiece when it first came out and still is to many people's hearts.
