92NY’s Teen Writing Programs

92NY classes are for YOU — with a focus on self-expression, creativity, and real-world experience. You’ll join a community of NYC teens and get to work with talented instructors and real working artists. 
 
October 2 and 9, 2-5 PM ET (Online)
For teens 15-18
A generative workshop for students interested in creative nonfiction as a form of expression, as well as for those hoping to come up with ideas for college application essays.
 
Oct 23, 30 and Nov 6, 2-5 PM ET (Online)
For teens 14-18
Teens will create original works after exploring a diverse array of late 20th and 21st century poets including Audre Lorde, June Jordan, Gwendolyn Brooks, Ocean Vuong, Layli Long Soldier, Hanif Abdurraqib and Danez Smith.
Scholarships are available in all program areas.
