Over time we forget what life really feels like
How it thrashes at our insides and melts us to the bone
Torturing us with the sweetest temptations of Man
How it burns
Eventually, though, it all starts to fade away
Just a void now...
Or...lack thereof
Years of torture have finally come to an end
Solitude becomes our only salvation
Our perception of time has vanished
Farther apart as we grow, we realize that none of this is real
But we don't care
Everyday is the same as the last
In this eternal bliss
Nothing really matters
God has no meaning here.
Now our time is running out
Underneath us the ice is wearing thin
Maybe it isn't such a good idea being in such a blissful state
Because I seem to have forgotten who I really am or if I really Am at all...

Yet another acrostic gone crazy.
