Lose It
Let’s talk about our lives before each other,
So similarly frivolous and meaningful, how
Divine it is to share a world unseen.
What ecstasy from observation!
What wonder comes from conversation!
How god exists in friends and nature,
How little else we care to know
That here we’ve come together and created,
Exchanged our tiny bits of universe.
I am an eternal hostage of wit.
When a stroke of genius is effective as
A single finger up my spine,
Please speak, and open up my head
So I can lose some of my mind.
