As I line up on the line I think

How can I lose this guy.



As he watches me closely the play

Begins I explode with the speed like
A cheetah.
I gain yards in front of the defense.
When I look back I see the quarterback
Bring his arm back ready to throw.
I wonder am I open enough to make the play.
He launches the ball with the accuracy of that like a bullet.
I catch it as I run a little farther. I’m almost at the end line ready to score.
The crowd is cheering at the thought of us getting
Enough points to win the last game of the season.
