Compromising Situation
September 26, 2007
To do what I want, or do what I must
Their wishes come true as mine turn to dust.
My dreams waiting to come and be fulfilled
They want me to be what they want, and stilled.
My heart keeps beating; my emotions stir
They churn and mix, and now my feelings blur.
I cannot choose, and I cannot decide.
What to do? Options continue and slide.
We need to find a way to compromise,
And find the plan that lies before our eyes.
