Strong-Willed
She sat upon the rocks, still as can be,
Looking into the vast world unknown.
Thanking God for everything he has done.
Her past does not form her future, but yet
Inspires her to reach high for the stars.
Trying to love those that have so much hate.
To be that shoulder when people need it.
Not all will like her, but some will love her.
In my darkest days, God brightens the skies.
Whether in a field, or on a tall rock,
His love and strength will overcome it all.
She will press on with love and a smile
Having the courage to face all her fears.
To travel half way across the world,
Jumping into the unknown with her faith.
Knowing that regardless, God will catch her.
From sorrow to the kingdom of greatness.
