Atop my dresser you sit
Eagerly urging me to look
To see my flaws you reflect
Cynically accuse me of the obvious sin
Morning, noon, and night
You demand the truth
With a silent grin behind the glass
You torture the girl staring back
The once innocent has gone away
The monster is here to stay
