Saftey
We have built ourselves on a world of safety.
Stitching seems so tightly around our hearts.
Casing ourselves with mortar and brick, building our walls sky high.
Growing older and colder our bones aching and shaking.
Once upon a time there was a place we once felt safe.
But we blew it up just in case someone else attempted to.
Our words are useless because they lack the meaning they once held.
Morals gone, like the wind and they aren’t ever coming back.
