When I'll Be Young...
When I'll be a young, exuberant maid,
Tall and lean like a grass blade,
I'll allow all dreams to invade,
My delicately fashioned thoughts,
And fear not, they will never fade!
In vivid colors and beautiful shades,
With the beat of my heart, on canvas, I'll paint!
So I never lose my treasures,
Like the pastels on an artist's plate,
Hugging tight my soft cushion,
I will dream forever, and anticipate,
A dreamy future to come!
